The General Administration Department of Gujarat Government was constituted to provide the functions of the "Staff Selection Commission" from Resolution No: 1-3-88, KVY-1186- 1615-G3. For the purpose of making the name of this commission, its performance, field area matters, and to make it more transparent, it is proposed to keep its " Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal" from the Resolution No .: KVY-1186-1615-G3 of T.R. 11-1988.
